RapidSSL Order Process
The order process is almost exactly the same as ordering direct, except cheaper! When you order your SSL certificate you will receive an email directly from RapidSSL within 5 minutes of your completed payment. Please check any spam/junk mail filters for this email. This email will contain a link which allows you to place an order for your SSL certificate directly with RapidSSL without any further payment. You should have your certificate within 10 minutes of starting your order.
RapidSSL Renewals
You can renew your existing SSL certificate with us at the same prices as a new certificate (we do not increase the price just for renewals). If you have time remaining on your current SSL certificate we can add up to 90 days to your new certificate. The renewal process is exactly the same as orderign a new certificate. The system will detect if your certificate request is for a renewal.
RapidSSL Re-issuance Insurance
You have the option to purchase insurance with your certificate for a small extra fee. This means if your certificate is lost or you have a server failure you can have your certificate re-issued for no extra cost an unlimited number of times during the validity period.
